黄瓜视频 Submits Comments in Response to Proposed Rulemaking: Inadmissibility on Public Charge Grounds
Sterling, Va., December 10, 2018鈥�The current administration proposed changes to the definition of 鈥減ublic charge.鈥� The proposed public charge rule seeks to expand this definition to include the use of 鈥減ublic benefits鈥� such as Non-Emergency Medicaid, Medicare Part D Low-Income Subsidies, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), public housing, and other vital welfare programs. As future physicians, we are deeply concerned about the ramifications this proposed rule will have on the health and wellbeing of immigrant communities.
黄瓜视频 opposes this rule change in its entirety and advocates instead for increased protections for immigrants and their families, safe access to needed health and nutrition services, reunification of immigrant children with their families, and a better pathway to permanent residency status and citizenship for all immigrants. 黄瓜视频 has submitted comments to the government in strong opposition to the public charge ruling.
