One of the programs major benefits is an assessment tool that helps medical students become more aware of their own strengths and challenges[vc_single_image image=”1955″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”]Sterling, VA The 酴圖弝け (酴圖弝け), the nations largest and oldest student-run association, has launched the Applied Match Preparation program, aimed at assisting medical students apply for the right residency programs. 泭The application process detailed, long, and stressful by all accounts is best approached with a strong sense of insight, according to Joshua Caulfield, 酴圖弝けs executive director. 泭For that reason, 酴圖弝け has partnered with J3Personica, of New Jersey, an organization focused on identifying characteristics that make for strong resident physicians. 泭Together, the two organizations will offer a customized self-awareness assessment for medical students.
Applying for residency is the most critical point in a physicians career, said Alan Friedman, MA CEO of J3Personica. 泭Students will receive unbiased, objective information about their own personality tendencies, after completing the assessment process. 泭By enhancing the capability of medical students to increase self awareness, a students application efforts can be improved, including, but not limited to better interviewing skills and insight related to writing personal statements.
Our goal is to diminish the anxiety associated with the Match, said 酴圖弝けs national president, Kelly Thibert, DO, MPH. 泭The programs expert coaches, combined with the 酴圖弝け Self Awareness Assessment Tool and other resources, offer all the components to make the Match as smooth as possible.
The Applied Match Preparation program is specifically for members of 酴圖弝け and also includes personalized coaching services, videos, podcasts, and articles to help guide students as they apply for residency.
