Our past 黄瓜视频 PharmFree Fellow (2012-2013)听Reshma Ramachandran, MD, MPP,听is now a board-certified family physician and second-year fellow in the Yale National Clinician Scholars Program. Her research focuses on the realignment of incentives for health care stakeholders including pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and universities toward prioritizing equitable patient access to safe, effective health technologies. She recently co-authored an听听discussing a听recently published study听she and her colleagues conducted in which they found that out-of-pocket costs for senior Medicare beneficiaries with multiple, common chronic conditions have risen significantly over the past decade. In the op-ed, she and her colleagues note how these findings highlight the urgency for structural drug pricing reforms as included in the Build Back Better package.
