Sohawm Sengupta is a 4th year MD/MPH candidate at the Medical College of Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia where he received a Bachelor of Science in biology and minored in public health.

Sohawm serves as the Georgia Lead of the Digital Rural Health project and has partnered with leaders across the state to identify deployment sites, train new volunteers, and develop sustainable curriculum and reproducibility for the project. He is passionate about addressing barriers to rural care by empowering individuals to feel more comfortable with their digital health literacy.

Aerica Worrell

Aerica Worrell is a junior at the University of Georgia majoring in Regenerative Bioscience, with a minor in Health Policy and Management on the pre-medical track. At UGA, she has been awarded the National Stamps Scholarship and is a UGA Foundation Fellow.

Aerica serves as President of UGA’s �ƹ��Ƶ (�ƹ��Ƶ), the university’s largest pre-medical organization, where she leads initiatives to support and connect aspiring healthcare professionals. She is deeply committed to addressing healthcare disparities and improving access for underserved and under-resourced populations. As a leader in �ƹ��Ƶ’s Digital Rural Health Corps, Aerica works to reduce barriers to care in rural communities while empowering fellow undergraduates to engage in meaningful, service-driven healthcare initiatives.

Arman Seth

Arman Seth serves on the Georgia Committee of the Digital Rural Health Project, collaborating with student leaders across the state to identify deployment sites, develop potential research initiatives, and support ongoing committee efforts. He attended Emory University, where he majored in Chemistry.

Inspired by the disparities in care he witnessed during COVID-19, Arman is committed to improving access for rural and underserved populations. As a first-generation child of immigrants, he is driven to become the kind of physician he once needed – one who continues to advocate for patients still searching for equitable, compassionate care.

Nour Louisa Badaoui is a third-year Biomedical Sciences major at the University of Cincinnati pursuing a career in medicine. She first joined the program in September of 2025, where she has subsequently contributed at Ohio deployments. Through her involvement in �ƹ��Ƶ and DRHI, she is passionate about bridging gaps in healthcare by helping patients better understand and access digital health resources. Essence Dobbelare-Buchanan

Essence is a second year Biological Sciences student at the University of Cincinnati pursuing pre-medicine with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. She first joined the program in August of 2025, where she has since operated as (insert positions here). Prior to graduating high school in Toledo Ohio, Essence resided within Paulding County, OH; a rural community in Northwest Ohio. Essence has worked closely with DRHI, spearheading items such as hosting training sessions at UC, organizing new Spanish-oriented deployments, and writing the monthly newsletter.

Nikitha Balaji

Nikitha Balaji (they/them) is honored to serve �ƹ��Ƶ in their current role as �ƹ��Ƶ’s National President. They are excited to build upon �ƹ��Ƶ’s rich history and legacy of driving change in response to ongoing inequity and they look forward to working alongside similarly impassioned future physicians in the process.

Nikitha has completed their M2 year at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. They are originally from Melbourne, Florida, and graduated from the George Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Nikitha joined �ƹ��Ƶ in 2020, as sweeping anti-LGBT+ legislative attacks spread throughout state legislatures across the nation. Through �ƹ��Ƶ, they found the resources and mentorship necessary to develop their agency as a physician-in-training and advocate against the inequities facing their community. In their previous roles as �ƹ��Ƶ’s LGBT+ Health Advocacy Coordinator and Gender and Sexuality Health Policy Coordinator, Nikitha has worked to author and submit pieces of written testimony to state medical boards and state legislatures to communicate the evidence-based harms of anti-LGBT+ legislation. They have also worked with �ƹ��Ƶ chapters to develop state-specific advocacy action plans to push back against harmful local legislation. In their role as �ƹ��Ƶ’s Transgender Health Scholars Co-Course Director, Nikitha has enjoyed having the opportunity to shine a light on transgender health from the perspective of medical education.

Jennifer Salehi

Jennifer has been with �ƹ��Ƶ for nearly two decades and has served in many roles for the organization. She is currently using that experience to guide �ƹ��Ƶ’s operations, accounting, administration and membership. Her passions for data analysis, managing everything with a spreadsheet, watching crime drama, reading historical fiction and anything to do with puppies has helped her acquire the skills needed to manage �ƹ��Ƶ’s unique infrastructure and support �ƹ��Ƶ’s members and leaders in their amazing work. In her free time Jennifer also enjoys all the small moments that make up life with her husband and two dogs
